I wonder how many of you have visited RBI, Nagpur website and clicked on the "Security Management" tab on the left sidebar ? Well, do it now if you haven't already done so !! Capt Shailendranath has posted some excellent powerpoint presentations on Bomb Threat, The Fallout of 9/11, Disaster Management (for RBI, Nagpur, Additional Office Building, in Hindi and English) and Fire Fighting. A lot of hardwork is evident in his effort. This should encourage presentations on similiar lines which can be made for every office and posted on the related websites. Well done Shailendra !!

Capt Shailendra Nath has a very unique quality of taking the initiative. May I share an incident with readers of this blog when Shailendra and my self were attending a seminar at Bank of France at paris in December 2002. On the second last day of the seminar, the Director announced that we could give presentations on the Security of our respective Banks on the last day, that was the next day. Since that was an extempore announcement, no team was prepared for the same. Shailendra got in touch with Capt Murthy at Bombay on telephone and asked him to mail him the presentation which they had earlier prepared. Capt Murthy acted fast. Shailendra received it in his mail and sure enough, next day we were the only Central Bank team who were ready with the presentation on Security of Reserve Bank of India, Bombay. We not only got a loud applause from the other delegates as well, as the faculty, but also the presentation generated very lively discussion on various aspects of the Security of a Central Bank as a grand finale.
Well done Shailendra once again and keep it up.
